A poor cat with frostbite, rotten teeth and worms desperately begged for help by pawing at windows.
The orange tabby had been left freezing in the snow before it was found by an unnamed woman from Quebec, Canada.
The stray ginger cat was rushed to the vet after the woman took a picture of it and sent it to a rescue shelter, the Un Chat à la Fois.
Marie Simard, the owner of the centre named the cat Aslan, she said he had "rotten teeth, frostbite, a bite wound – he was bleeding somewhere on his body – fleas, worms, he had diabetes and skin allergy."
Speaking to BoredPanda, she also revealed he has now recovered since the traumatic time.
She added: "Aslan is a very affectionate cat. He forgot his outdoor life, he doesn’t try to go outside.
"He likes to sleep on his pillow and he likes to cuddle."
It was later found Aslan was a lost pet and was left by irresponsible owners.
Marie said the centre had "checked everywhere" but could not find them.

After he was found, Aslan was hospitalised as his blood work was "very bad."
He was stabilised before he was sent off to a foster family.
According to the vet Aslan would not have survived had he not been taken to the hospital.
The heartbreaking story of Aslan touched hearts across social media.
