Disturbing video captures the moment a stranger beat up a man in the Bronx — leaving him with broken bones in his face and a brain bleed.
The 54-year-old victim was waiting for a ride on Morris Park Avenue near Unionport Road in Van Nest at 7:20 p.m. August 31 when the suspect approached him and started sparring, the surveillance clip shows.
He then knocked the victim to the ground and repeatedly pummeled him as he was cornered against a building.
Before the vicious attack, the suspect was fighting with another group of people, and then turned his attention to the victim — who had nothing to do with the dispute but was simply standing nearby, cops said.
The man was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center with severe head trauma, and remained there Wednesday, more than a week later, cops said.
His attacker remained at large.
