In it, a woman clutching an American flag can be heard roaring "don't touch her, I'll kill you" as a group of men tried to move her and another woman along.
The Twitter user who shared the 38-second clip described the group of men as Proud Boys, a far-right group linked to violent insurgences around the United States.
The alt-right organization was launched in New York City in 2016 and has been classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
The woman can be seen waving a large, silver knife at the group and saying "don't touch my wife" before one of the men knocks her out with a helmet and the woman she was protecting appears to drive off.
The injured woman, identified as an "Antifa/Black Lives Matter" protester, can be seen lying on the ground before a man wearing a red hat runs over t other.
He appears to take something out of her hand at this point, which is presumably the weapon she was waving.
The video emerged after a weekend of chaos and civil unrest in the capitol, as Trump fans descended on DC to decry Joe Biden's 2020 win.
The race was called for Biden since November 7 but Trump has yet to concede though insiders said that he is aware that he lost, reports said.
Detectives there arrested Javien Michael Dawson, 26, after Trump fans were filmed throwing a firework at Trump fans who were eating at a restaurant there.
In the clip, a large group can be seen descending on PJ Clarke’s restaurant – just blocks away from the White House – before chaos ensues.
The heated discussion is between Trump supporters and the raging crowd, when someone sets off fireworks, which then explode on the patio.
Elsewhere, one Trump loyalist used a megaphone as a weapon while MAGA fans pushed counter-protesters towards police, who were keeping an eye on the proceedings.
Peter Kohn of Staten Island, New York, was booked for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Frederick Brown, 25, of Northwest DC was arrested for Theft charges on 15th Street.
"The victim [Brown] took the suspect's property [Kohn] and attempted to flee the scene," police said. "The suspect was able to stop the victim. The suspect then struck the victim multiple times with a flagpole.
"Both parties were apprehended at the scene."
A total of six people were charged with weapons offenses as the protest sparked widespread civil unrest.
Four of these suspects were carrying guns with a permit and two were charged with assaulting a police officer, per the New York Post.
The other people booked by DC officers were hit with assault, theft, or disorderly conduct charges.
