Model left with fractured skull after boyfriend ‘beat her for seven hours’

A model was left with a fractured skull and bruises all over her face and body after her boyfriend allegedly beat her for seven hours for 'flirting with another man'.

Tanja Djukic had been in a relationship with Turkish producer Cagri Tortop for two years when the incident occurred at their apartment in Istanbul, northern-western Turkey.

The 24-year-old, originally from Serbia but living in Turkey, said they started arguing after Tortop accused her of flirting with another man.

Speaking about the attack, she said: "I was peeing from pain and at one point blood was pouring from my nose, mouth and ear."

Djukic explained that the beating lasted for seven hours and that he brutally hit her in the head causing her to pass out.

After she lost consciousness, he allegedly pulled her into the bathroom where he poured cold water on her to help her wake up before continuing to beat her, according to local media.

She added: "I begged him to stop, but he did not pay attention, he hit me everywhere he could.

"After that, injured and covered with bruises, he pulled me into a room and locked the door. I suffered pain, I was hungry and thirsty."

The next morning she says he put a knife to her throat but she convinced him that she would not report him because she loved him.

She later reported him to the police but says: "In Turkey. I wasn't helped at all. He has not even been arrested. My parents came for me, we filed a report and I am in Serbia."

"My former boyfriend gave a false statement and claimed that I injured myself."

"He threatened me through mutual friends that he would ruin my life, and I am afraid because he is not a naive person.

"I lived with him for two years and did not notice that he is a monster."

The beautiful brunette was diagnosed with a skull fracture, multiple haematomas, bruises, a cut to her mouth and torn hair.

In the photos, Djukic can be seen with red marks and bruising to her face and arms.
