Hundreds of Donald Trump supporters gathered on the White House lawn on Saturday evening as the US President spoke from the balcony. President Trump told the crowd “I love you too” and stated that they are way ahead of many people in the United States.
Mr Trump said: “I just want to thank most in particular you, because you people come out and cheer and you love your country.
“You get it, you are way ahead of many people in this country.
“But the country is getting it.
“The country is seeing something now.”

The supporters chanted: “We love you. We love you.”
The US President said: “Thank you, I love you too.”
During the weekend White House physician Sean Conley provided an update on the US President’s health.
He said in a statement: “Now at day 10 from symptom onset, fever-free for well over 24 hours and all symptoms improved, the assortment of advanced diagnostic tests obtained reveal there is no longer evidence of actively replicating virus.”
On Sunday in an exclusive Express.co.uk poll found a vast majority of readers backed Mr Trump’s bid for another four years in the Oval Office despite his poor ratings stateside.
The online poll revealed a staggering 80 percent (7,957 people) said they would vote for Mr Trump if they could take part in next month’s election.
Just 20 percent (1,531 people) said they would vote for his 77-year-old rival and former vice-president Mr Biden. Two percent (287 people) were undecided.
A total of 9,775 readers took part in the poll which opened at 10.30am on Sunday and closed at 7.30pm.

One Express.co.uk reader said: “Far more enthusiasm for Trump this election. I cannot stress sufficiently how the support for him has increased.
Another Express.co.uk reader said: “The USA is lost forever if Biden wins, he has proved over the years to be clueless over world affairs.”
Several readers bemoaned the quality of candidates in the running for the Presidency.
One said: “Basically a choice between awful and dire.”
