Anthony Weiner still can’t totally quit politics.
With little remaining influence in Washington, the disgraced former congressman is leaning into his new role as boss of a broken-glass factory to promote civic participation, offering 20% off to customers who promise to vote.
“We at IceStone care a lot about all three bottom lines: profit, planet and people. Sometimes that means we often sacrifice a little profit if it means doing something good for the planet and its people,” Weiner said in an email Thursday.
Anyone looking to get the November discount needs to put “I’m voting” in the comments section of the website, the pitch instructed.
In September, The Post revealed Weiner is CEO of the company, which makes designer countertops from broken glass.
Once a rising star in city politics, Weiner’s career imploded in 2011 after he was busted sending explicit photos to a woman over his public Twitter account. An image rehabilitation and possible mayoral run in 2013 was scuttled after more sexting allegations emerged. In 2017 he pleaded guilty to federal obscenity charges after he was busted again for sending lewd images to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.
The former pol says he has no plans for a political comeback.
