PRIYANKA Chopra and Nick Jonas have always been open about their love for one another.
Valentine's Day 2021 was no exception, despite the fact that the pair were separated by work commitments.
Why did Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas spend Valentine's Day apart?
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were sadly unable to spend Valentines day together this year.
At the time, Chopra was filming a movie in London whilst her husband was in Los Angeles, filming his final season of The Voice.
Despite the distance, the two still managed to celebrate in extravagant style.
Chopra shared a picture of herself looking forlorn surrounded by dozens of roses sent to her by her Valentine.
She wrote: "I wish you were here @nickjonas ❤️ just a couple of roses.. 😆,"
She also posted another photo, writing, "My forever Valentine. I love you"
Jonas was also seen writing a gushing message to his wife, alongside a photo of the pair riding horses together.
He wrote: "Where ever you go, I’ll go, cause we’re in it together,
"For better or worse, hold on, cause it only gets better. 🎵 Happy Valentine’s Day @priyankachopra thank you for filling every day with happiness and peace. I love you to the moon and back. ❤️"
Did Nick andPriyanka break up?
Months after the two spent Valentine's Day apart, fans started to suspect that there was trouble in paradise.
In November 2021, Chopra was seen removing the last name Jonas, as well as her maiden name, from her profile on Instagram.
Her bio now reads simply: Priyanka, similar to what she did on Twitter.
While the movie star has yet to explain or comment on her relationship status, fans started to worry that their relationship might be over.
"NICK AND PRIYANKA??? WTF IS HAPPENING," one user asked on Twitter.
Another wondered, "Nick and priyanka are getting divorced? Huh?"
Fans are hoping their relationship status is revealed during the Netflix special, Jonas Brothers Family Roast, which was released on November 23, 2021.
When did Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas get married?
The pair tied the knot on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Umaid Bhawan Palace, in Jodhpur, India, with a whole week of festivities leading up to their nuptials.
The 347-room Palace is one of the world’s largest private residences, part of which is a hotel.
They first kicked off their wedding parties with a Puja ceremony on Wednesday, November 28.
Next up was the Sangeet, Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies all of which took place in Jodhpur.
Jonas' pastor dad, Paul, then led the Christian ceremony.
