Tipping Point viewers were left far from impressed after one player incorrectly guessed an “easy” question during Friday’s show (February 10).

Paul, Louise and Rhasan joined host Ben Shephard to take their turn on the famous coin machine in a bid to bag a potential £10k jackpot.

However, as the players got stuck in and took to the podium, fans started to blast the players, in particular, Paul following his “silly” answer.

After beating out contestant Rhasan during the tense first round,Paul and Louise made their way into the second round.

“The artist Domenikos Theotokopoulos is better known by what Spanish name that means 'The Greek’?” asked host Ben Shephard to Louise.

“Because I don’t know the answer I’m going to take the risk and pass,” she said.

Paul, looking confused, shrugged his shoulders and said Salvador Dali.

But Paul’s guess was wrong and the right answer was actually El Greco.

Following Paul’s answer, plenty of Tipping Point viewers took to Twitter to proclaim how he “deserved to lose huge now.”

One fumed: “I wasn't in a long-term relationship with my telly, ,I'd punch it right now!”

“Salvador Dali? You deserve to lose huge now mate,” proclaimed a third viewer.

Someone else penned: “Paul needs to be quiet.”

A fourth agreed: "What a silly answer"

“That question was easy – wth?” mused a fifth viewer.

A sixth raged: “I take back what I said about these being geniuses.”

Paul ended up losing out on the round, but he didn’t leave empty handed.

He managed to bag himself two prizes consisting of a juicy machine and a hotel stay.

Whereas Louise went into the final round with £1350 in her bank.
