This Morning guest and former submarine captain Chris Reynolds has slammed BBC drama Vigil for being 'inaccurate beyond belief'.

Chris appeared on Friday's episode of the ITV daytime show alongside presenter Alice Beer and gave her a tour around the HMS Ocelot for a segment titled 'Vigil: The Real Story'.

At the end of the segment, Chris was asked if he was "loving" the drama.

In response, he said: "It's a drama, isn't it?

"It's so inaccurate, it's beyond belief.

"The only thing I would say, I don't particularly like the way they portray the submarine service who are highly-professional, highly-skilled and that doesn't come across in the drama.

"That's my only criticism," he added.
