After yesterday’s This Morning caller won the jackpot prize of £3,000 on Spin to Win, hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield joked they could win big for a second day in a row. When today’s caller, Lesley, revealed they’d recently been made redundant and worried about paying for Christmas presents, the presenters assured her she’d win at least £750. However, they weren’t expecting Phillip to spin the wheel and have it land on £3,000 for the second day in a row.

Caller Lesley initially believed the call from the ITV show was a hoax.

She hesitantly asked the presenters: “This isn’t a wind up isn’t it?” to which Phillip assured her it wasn’t.

Lesley explained: “I’ve just been made redundant, and my granddaughter is five days old, I was panicking on Christmas and everything, oh God.

“Honestly, I can’t believe it, it really is you!”

After the wheel landed on the £3,000, Holly exclaimed: “We were saying, ‘Could it be two days in a row and you did it.’”

“That’s amazing,” Phillip added.

The This Morning caller, Lesley, told the hosts: “Since I’ve been made redundant, I’ve been doing this.”

Phillip replied: “Well, finally you got through, finally we called you.

“It was your lucky day, you’ve won £3,000 but listen, that’s not all. You’ve got the bag of shizzle.”

Lesley went on to correctly answer Holly and Phillip’s question about today’s editing of This Morning winning the bag of goodies.

After the call ended, Phillip remarked: “It’s been really good. Karma! It’s karma!

“There was a huge thunk halfway through that as our editor fainted in the gallery.

“Yeah, we might be doing reruns of This Morning soon,” Holly joked.

Those watching at home were left thrilled by the result of today’s Spin to win and took to Twitter to express their joy.
