Stacey Solomon finally reveals her baby daughter's name after asking fans for help

STACEY Solomon has finally revealed her baby daughter's name – over a week after giving birth.

The TV favourite turned to fans for help in choosing what to call the little girl over the weekend, and has now announced her and fiance Joe Swash's decision.

After spending a few days trying out different names to "see which suited her", Stacey and Joe have settled on Rose Opal Esme Solomon-Swash.

Sharing a sweet photo of her daughter laying beside a rose while wearing a pink knitted babygro, the star wrote: "🌹Rose🌹 Opal, Esmè Solomon-Swash. ♥️"

She went on: "Our beautiful flower – Our precious jewel – who is ever loved. It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and back our little Rose 🥺🌹

"We feel so so lucky to have you here… Thank you all for your loveliness, your kindness and just being there at 3am for a chat it’s been the best. Love you all 🌹♥️"

The TV favourite welcomed baby Rose last Monday, which was also her 32nd birthday.

She had begged fans for help in her hunt for a name for the newborn, admitting at the time: "My mind is completely blank.

"There's a few we love so we are calling her those at the moment and seeing which one suits her the best I know that probably sounds silly."

The mum-of-four had had her heart set on naming her first daughter after the season she'd been born in.

But Stacey and Joe hilariously realised that her full name would then be Autumn Solomon-Swash – with an unfortunate set of initials.

"We loved the name Autumn but then we realised her initials would be ASS," Stacey explained to fans on Instagram.

"So it helped us rule out all of the 'A' names."

The Loose Women star previously said her little girl was "the best birthday present" she could have asked for.

She penned:  "She’s Here. Born at Pickle Cottage on mummy’s birthday. Our little girl… Happy birthday my darling daughter…

"We all love you more than you could ever imagine. Your brothers, your daddy and I are so in love.

"Thank you for the most incredible 9 months. Now we cannot wait for the rest of our lives with you…🖤."

Since then, Stacey has opened about her difficulty breastfeeding, admitting it was making her feel "sad" that she's struggling.

She had the same problems with her youngest son Rex, two, when he was born.

Stacey confessed to feeling "like a failure" for not being able to feed her newborn at the time, and spoke candidly about losing bonding time with him

She told her followers this time around: "I'm struggling again with feeding this time around, so spending all of my energy trying to feed, eat, and rest.

"Also seeing local breastfeeding specialists and the community midwives who have been incredible, so hoping for a more positive journey in the end this time but not putting pressure on myself."

Stacey added: "Even though it makes me a bit sad. Whatever will be will be."

The TV favourite documented her struggle with Rex back in 2019, sharing at the time: "Breastfeeding never happened for me the way that I imagined. I did my best to try and master it, but it wasn’t to be."
