Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) career as a teacher hasn’t got off to a flying start as he’s already facing being let go after grabbing young Max (Paddy Beaver) in Coronation Street.
The troubled teenager has pressed Daniel’s buttons this week, winding the new teacher up and failing to complete his homework.
Tonight, Max was once again taking pleasure in getting on the wrong side of Daniel, but things took a turn when the teacher realised something wasn’t quite right about his coat.
Quickly establishing his wallet was missing, Daniel accused Max and made him stay in detention, thinking it would be enough to get the truth out.
But a smug Max happily sat playing games on his phone, failing to reveal whether he actually had Daniel’s wallet.
Back on the cobbles, Daniel approached Max to apologise, but when things escalated, Daniel attempted to search Max, breaking one of the golden rules when it comes to being a teacher: no physical contact.
David (Jack P Shepherd) rushed outside to see what was going on, just as Daniel realised he had made a huge mistake.
David warned Daniel he would face the consequences after grabbing Max, could he lose his teaching career already?
If there’s no proof Max stole the wallet, what hope does Daniel have after this accusation?
