Appearing on Monday's Good Morning Britain, royal biographer Angela Levin claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex registered the name days ahead of Sunday's announcement.

According to the Registry Domain ID: LilibetDiana.com was registered on June 4 at 15:48.

The birth and baby name was confirmed via a statement posted on Harry and Meghan's Archewell website on Sunday June 6.

The statement read: "It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world.

"Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA."
