LOUISE Redknapp has announced her return to live music with a socially-distanced show next month.
The pop star will sing tracks from her latest album Heavy Love and classic Eternal hits when she takes to the stage in Clapham, London, on October 2nd.
Louise, 45, released her first record in two decades back in January but her plan to promote her new music at live shows was torpedoed by the coronavirus.
And she can't wait to get back in front of the crowds, writing on Instagram: "I’m so excited to announce I will be performing a special one off distanced seated show ‘Heavy Love – Intimate and Live’ performing all your favourites as well as exclusive Q&A session hosted by the wonderful @iamrichieanderson at @thegrandclapham on Friday 2nd October.
"Tickets on sale Wednesday 9th September at 9am. Hope to see you there xxx"
Her fans were delighted with her news, and one raved: "Can’t wait to see you there! Finally, 2020 just got better! xxx"
Another begged her to perform in Manchester: "Omg so gutted I can’t make this, WE NEED A MANCHESTER SHOW "
Louise worked with Clean Bandit, Jojo and Raye on her latest album, as well as Eg White who has written hits for Adele, Kylie Minogue, Sam Smith and Celine Dion.
She penned the record having found a new lease of life after her divorce from Jamie Redknapp – becoming a sex symbol again at 45.
A poster girl in her 20s, she was voted the sexiest woman of the decade in 2004, and now appears to be on a mission to regain her crown after shedding her homely image.
The stunning singer is single and ready to mingle after finally being ready to date following her split from Jamie.
She filed for divorce on the grounds of unreasonable behaviour and it was finalised in a 25-second court hearing in December 2017.
Louise later said: “I have spent most of my life pleasing everyone else, worrying about being judged and thinking I should always do the right thing by staying at home, looking after my kids and my husband. I lost myself.”
