Loose Women fans fuming as Coleen Nolan fails to address backstage feud claims

Loose Women fans have been left annoyed after the recent claims that some of the show's stars are refusing to work with Coleen Nolan were not addressed.

Coleen, 56, had denied the claims and told her Twitter followers that they would be discussed on the show on Monday – however they were not.

The claims were not addressed at all, however Coleen did hint to them when she said that she was going through a "stressful time".

Viewers tuned in hoping to see the ladies get to the bottom of the reports, with the original claims suggesting Carol McGiffin, who was on the episode with Coleen, was one of the people to have had a falling out with the star.

But they were left unhappy when the topic was not brought up in conversation, with the show instead discussing fridges and getting back with exes.

One angry fan tweeted: "Is this a joke? I tuned in especially to hear what Coleen had to say after she said she was going to address the rumours."

Another said: "Coleen needs to keep her promises. Mortified."

A third said: "What a waste of my time. Honestly, the most boring Loose Women show I've ever watched."

While someone else added: "Why did Coleen say she was going to open up about the fallout and then she didn't? Pretty fishy to me."

And someone else noted: "Ooh Coleen and Carol are on the same panel."

The original claims from the Mail on Sunday suggested that Carol, Nadia Sawalha and Stacey Solomon had told bosses they did not want to work with Coleen.

The claims were denied by the show, Coleen and a number of other panelists, including Stacey, who retweeted Coleen's own statement.

The statement read: "Nothing printed in The Mail article today is true and I am taking legal advice about the slurs on me personally. We'll also be addressing it on Loose Women. Thanks for your support. Love Coleen xx."

The Loose Women presenters were said to have fallen out over a tweet sent by Coleen's agent Melanie Blake, who branded Nadia a "nasty witch" on social media.

Melanie, who previously represented Nadia too, has denied the claims too.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
