Kerry Katona, 40, wants sixth baby using a surrogate after 'traumatic' birth

KERRY Katona has revealed she would like to have a sixth child but plans to use a surrogate because she “couldn’t physically” carry another baby.

The 40-year-old – who has five children from prior relationships – said she wants to give her fiance Ryan Mahoney a child and is looking at freezing her eggs.

Speaking during an Instagram live, she shared:“I am going to get my eggs frozen because I would like Ryan to have a child but I couldn't physically carry it. So we are looking into surrogacy but we're in no rush.”

Kerry is mum to Molly-Marie, 19, and Lilly-Sue, 18, from her marriage to Brian McFadden and with Heidi, 14, and Maxwell, 13, from her second marriage to Mark Croft.

She also has Dylan-Jorge, seven, from her relationship with the late George Kay.

The birth was extremely traumatic and she came “close to death” after suffering from pre-eclampsia.

Ryan popped the question to Kerry last year but the couple are yet to make any wedding plans.

During the chat, Kerry also discussed her family life and how hard it can be to keep the kids grounded.

When asked if they were spoiled, she said: “Not so much Molly and Lilly but the other three.'

“When I was with George and I went through all the abuse and stuff, I feel like I've over-compensated and they want for nothing, and I've made a rod for my own back there, especially Heidi. I've over-compensated for the mistakes I've made in the past.

“The abuse my kids get because I'm their mum, 'Your mum's a cokehead, your mum's on OnlyFans, your mum's this, your mum's that'.

“I bought our Heidi the new iPad with a pen for her birthday and I was away working and she texted me, 'Mum, can I have a new pen? The dog chewed it.' I was like, 'No.'

“But the fact she thought that was OK just to do that shows I've gone too far with them. They want for nothing and that's my own fault. I've got nobody to blame but myself. But they're loved.”
