Is The '90 Day Fiancé' Tell-All a Nadir in the Show? Fans Seem to Think So

At this point, no one thinks 90 Day Fiancé is This is Us. Fans don’t watch it because they think it’s a top-tier drama with nuanced performances and a heart-tugging storyline. They watch it because, for two hours, they get to forget their troubles and poke fun at other people whose relationships are far worse than theirs will ever be. But even fans of low-brow reality television have their limits. And those limits seemed to be reached with the show’s upcoming tell-all.

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ tell-all features Angela flashing her breasts to the camera

ET has a sneak preview of the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé tell-all.

As usual, the couples are all at each other’s throats. Ronald insinuates that Tiffany cheated on him with a cameraman. Asuelu’s sister, Tammy, fights with both Kalani and (somehow) Yara. And Michael still cowers in shame and embarrassment. How did he even get here?

But the lowest point of all has to be when Angela flashes her breasts to the camera in the middle of a fight with Michael’s aunt Lydia. Yikes.

Many fans feel this is a new low for the show

In recent times, 90 Day Fiancé fans have been vocal about their desire to get Angela off of the show. But the latest tell-all preview has the chorus of detractors growing louder.

“Enough is enough. Angela is terrible — we don’t need to see this,” wrote one fan. “She’s so disgusting and an embarrassment to us women the way she talks, looks and acts!!” wrote another fan. And still, another wrote, “Angela has never claimed to be a classy woman, but there’s something especially gutter butt in flashing your husband’s family. Michael has been that woman’s rug. At this point, is coming to America worth your self-respect?”

However, it doesn’t look like TLC will be switching things up anytime soon.

But will TLC go in a different direction next season?

When 90 Day Fiancé first started, it focused on a series of couples who were from “different worlds” but still had very real relationships. One would be hard-pressed to find anyone who remembers Louis and Aya, for example, or Mike and Aziza. But they still appeared on the show, and their stories were entertaining even if boring from time to time.

Today, though, the show is all about who can be the most outrageous. At the end of the day, the show is still a top Twitter trending topic every Sunday, and its “stars” are even getting coverage in Entertainment Weekly alongside the likes of Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

TLC is in the business of ratings, not relationships. So, viewers who are expecting them to “bring classy back” are going to be waiting a long time.
