I'm A Celebrity recap: Diarrhoea outbreak hits camp – and it's not pretty

We are now a week into I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here – and it’s just getting better each day.

So far we have discovered Adele Roberts has a hidden love for Jane McDonald, and that Ian Wright really doesn’t like crocodile feet – he gets a bit snappy about this one.

Caitlyn Jenner has also opened up to her campmates about how she has been treated differently as a woman and Nadine Coyle spills the beans on her feud with Cheryl, turns out it was just ‘fake news’.

And on Tuesday night, we got to know the campmates a little better (but not in a good way).

After enjoying a rich luxury meal, the campers were left running to the dunny as after a diet of rice and beans – their stomachs couldn’t take it.

Caitlyn Jenner smuggled a corn-on-the-cob for a very hangry Ian Wright, and just when they thought they had gotten away with it – they hadn’t.

Unfortunately for the camp, they all suffered as TV bosses took a star away from them, which meant less food for their evening meal.

If you missed the show on Tuesday, don’t panic as we have picked out the best bits for you.

Corn-on-the-cob gate

Caitlyn Jenner’s food sneaking came back to haunt her as the entire I’m a Celebrity camp suffered as a result.

The gang discovered that as a result of the contraband and chicken making its way into camp, they’d get all have to deal with smaller portions that day.

After Andrew Maxwell earned 10 out of 12 stars during tonight’s Bushtucker Trial, the team were feeling smug that they’d been smashing the tasks put in front of them.

But when the basket arrived, it was revealed that they had lost a star’s worth of food as a result of the food smuggling.

To be fair, it’s not like they starved though – with a pretty hefty dinner of gemfish, wild cabbage, lions mane, chokos, heirlooms and longan.

‘It’s a little disappointing that it went from ten stars to nine stars because of smuggling,’ Caitlyn admitted.

She then tried to hide her involvement and added: ‘I honestly can’t imagine anyone in this group smuggling food. I mean how low do you have to go?’

‘The dunny is a disaster zone’

Fans were left reeling as the campmates shared details of the diarrhoea outbreak that has hit the camp on Tuesday night’s show (nice).

The dunny aka the only toilet in the camp –– was hot property in Tuesday’s show, after the campmates were struck down with the squits.

Adele Roberts explained: ‘We had such a rich amazing meal last night that our tummies know about it and the dunny is a disaster zone.’

The majority of the camp had been treated to a slap-up meal, barring Ian Wright, Andy Whyment and Cliff Parisi, which consisted of a roast dinner with all the trimmings.

It looks like some of them may have slightly overindulged on all the rich foods after eating mainly rice and beans with a few special ingredients including crocodiles’ feet thrown in for good measure.

Ian tells off James for ‘not doing his job’

James Haskell was left with a nasty foot burn after pouring scalding hot water on himself.

The ex-rugby player was helping out around camp, taking over Andrew Maxwell’s duties after he did the Bushtucker Trial for camp.

Heading down to the wash-up and carrying two buckets of hot water, things went south quickly and he tripped, burning his foot in the process.

Trying to hide it, James later told Caitlyn: ‘The hot water just slipped out and poured right into my boot, I couldn’t get my boot off in time and it’s blistered the front of my foot.’

Ian Wright was not happy about the moment and blamed Andrew for not rising to his job.

He told the Bush Telegraph: ‘James is our leader, he’s too nice and he’s gone down there with two buckets of hot water and scalded his foot because he didn’t do his job and just lead.’

Andrew’s near-miss with a snappy crocodile

Titled Arc Of Agony, the comedian had to find the stars by going into cages filled with different critters including crabs…and crocodiles.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donelly tried to contain their laughter as Andrew attempted to find the stars.

Dec questioned: ‘What about the crabs Andrew?’

To which is responded: ‘I couldn’t find them.’

As he greeted the crocodiles, Andrew donned his best Australian accent: ‘Good day sporto.’

Ant and Dec are then in fits of laughter at this point as the comedian continued: ‘Going to be real gentle with you boys.’

The cage is filled with two pretty big crocodiles, who look like they mean business.  The Irishman tried his best to slowly move one of the crocs, and all looked good until he upset one of them.

Ant doesn’t exactly help matters as he added: ‘Oh he doesn’t like you, nice and gentle.’

Although all ended well as the comedian ended up smashing the trial.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
