Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr has seen his odds slashed to enter this year’s I’m A Celeb, according to bookies.

Ladbrokes have predicted who will appear in this year’s ITV reality show with the Manchester lad tipped to enter.

Tom has been placed at 2/1 in terms of odds meaning he has a strong chance of being part of the lineup.

A spokesperson for Ladbrokes Alex Apati said: "Tom Malone Jr could be about to follow in Scarlett Moffatt's footsteps, with a stint in North Wales looking increasingly likely later this year."

Tom’s fellow Gogglebox co-star Scarlett Moffatt was crowned Queen of the jungle back in 2016.

The reality star beat comedian and TV presenter Joel Dommett to first place.

It comes as Tom’s family the Malones returned for series 17 earlier this year, however he was nowhere to been seen.

Tom, who is a choreographer and has performed with global pop superstars such as Rita Ora, Fergie and Wiley said he will no longer be on the show.

He shared the news on his Instagram page where he told his followers: “So after 6 and a half years it’s finally time to put down the remote, and to say goodbye to Gogglebox.

"I’ve loved every minute and I’m eternally grateful to @channel4 and @studiolambert for allowing me to be a part of the show.

"But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it’s time to explore them.

"I look forward to enjoying the show as a viewer and not having to worry about having said something stupid.

"PS. Don’t worry my family @themalonesgb and @shaunmalone95 will still be on the show to keep you guys entertained every Friday.

"To the future."

However, fans began to speculate as to whether or not producers would let his girlfriend be part of the Channel 4 show.

Tom took to Twitter to squash the rumours, he said: "Just to clear a few things up: I didn’t 'Quit' the show… I left on good terms.

"My girlfriend never even wanted to be on the show and had nothing I do with me leaving.

"I wasn’t scared to say something stupid. Anyone spouting these narratives are spreading fabrications."
