Emmerdales Victoria feared dead as she and Wendy are trapped in shooting siege

Emmerdale's Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) will be feared to be dead after being involved in a terrifying shooting siege.

The Dales resident will see her life put at risk, alongside that of Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) when Russ (Rob Jarvis) takes both ladies hostage with a sawn off shotgun.

Emmerdale spoilers reveal the drama begins when Russ confirms to his ex-partner Wendy that he is on the run after shooting a police officer while participating in an armed robbery of a jewellery store.

As a horrified Wendy realises Russ is more dangerous than she dared imagined, he orders her to hand over the money, with Wendy unaware of the shotgun lurking in the boot of Russ's car as she does.

The following day, Vic informs Russ that his money will be ready by noon, with the latter pretending to be bursting with gratitude.

However, plagued by her guilty conscience, Wendy ventures to the Hide and pleads with Victoria not to give the money to Russ, leaving her confused.

Wendy then spills the beans to Vic that Russ has been blackmailing her with a potentially life-ruining secret.

The situation escalates quickly when armed police suddenly arrive to the scene, which results in a stand-off between Russ and the officers waiting outside.

With tensions at an all-time high, Jacob, Dan and Bob gather outside the Hide when they hear a shot fired from inside.
