Emmerdale tease new Sugden family members as Victoria leaves the village following grandmother Annie's death

EMMERDALE has teased there are new Sugden family members as Victoria leaves the village following her grandmother Annie’s death.

On Monday night, as Victoria shared the tragic news that her grandmother had passed away, she also revealed that there are a few more members of the Sugden clan.

Victoria was devastated to find out that grandmother Annie, played by actress Sheila Mercier, had passed away.

The Emmerdale legend died in real life in December 2019 aged 100.

During Monday night’s episode, Victoria went to see her dad Jack's grave and mourned the loss of the mother and son.

Supported by pal Marlon Dingle, she opened up on her grief and confessed she didn't know what she was going to do without her grandmother.

As she discussed how she felt, she revealed to Marlon that she had distant cousins down South and was going to stay with them.

Marlon seemed surprised by the news as there are very few Sugdens in the village left following the death of Annie.

Asides from Victoria’s niece Sarah, and stepmother Diane, and her baby son Harry, there are very few family members left.

Victoria’s brother Andy is on the run, following his dramatic departure in 2016, and there other sibling Robert is in prison for murder.

Their father Jack passed away in 2009, while their mum died in fire in 2000.

Emmerdale fans had been hoping Andy would return to the village, after actor Kelvin Fletcher was spotted back on set.

However, the actor denied this, revealing he was filming an interview.
