Emmerdale's Paul Ashdale is haunting Lydia from beyond the grave – though certain viewers are convinced they've spotted a plot hole in the storyline.
The abusive father, who died in a car accident on his wedding two weeks ago, took out £5,000 in Lydia's name, spending money on gambling.
Lydia has only just discovered the debt and is unable to prove it was Paul who took out the dosh in her name.
She explained he withdrew the cash from an ATM, leading certain viewers to wonder whether there would be CCTV to place Paul, rather than Lydia, as the guilty party.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Erm there is cctv at ATM machines."
"Never mind poor Lydia, poor writing from the #emmerdale team! Paul was male withdrawing money on a female account and there's such a thing as cctv to prove this!," added a second.
And a third penned: "There's no proof? ATM machines have cameras, writers."
