DIRTY Rotten Scammers viewers had one major complaint about presenting duo Mavis and Michele Ackerley.
Michelle and her mum, Mavis, scrutinise the world of cyber fraud, hacking and other internet crime in the BBC programme.
In 2022, the mother and daughter duo joined forces to front the new documentary series.
Mavis is a personal trainer by profession, but has now turned her hand to TV presenting alongside her daughter.
But viewers are not convinced that the presenters were the right duo for the show.
One wrote: " @BBCOne How come Michelle Ackerley has her mum, Mavis, getting in on the act on #dirtyrottenscammers #?
"Was she interviewed? What are her qualifications for the job? Can I have a similar job please?"
Another echoed: "Why are these two hosting a show that they know f*** all about? They seem to be the actual dirty rotten scammers! Worse than the Rip off Britain grannies.. #DirtyRottenScammers"
A third chimed in: "Dirty Rotten Scammers.. Michelle Ackerley and her mum, Mavis, scrutinise the world of cyber fraud, hacking and other internet crime. Could you please tell me why -out of the thousands of potential applicants Michelle Ackerley's Mum was chosen for this position?"
"BBC nepotism again Michelle Ackerley and her mum Mavis have now become co presenters on Dirty Rotten Scammers. Why wasn't the role given to someone not related to Michelle? The BBC is riddled with it. It is unfair," another unhappy viewer posted.
