Bravo Is Going to "Use as Much Footage" of Jen Shah as "They’re Legally Allowed"

Attention everyone wondering if Jen Shah’s arrest is going to make it on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The answer is hell yes. Us Weekly reports that Bravo is still filming the show’s second season, and that “Production sees this as a great story line. One that everyone will want to see unfold. It’s ratings gold. They’re going to use as much footage as they can that they’re legally allowed to use.”

Meanwhile, Jen—who was filming for the show at the time of her arrest—plans to proceed with the reality series, with the source saying “Jen still intends on filming with the cast.”

As a reminder in case you somehow missed this explosive news, Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested on March 30 and are facing federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, not to mention money laundering.

Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss released a statement about their alleged crimes, saying the duo “allegedly generated and sold ‘lead lists’ of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam. In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims’ money. Now, these defendants face time in prison for their alleged crimes.”

Jen has pleaded not guilty and her trial is set for all the way in October, which means Bravo has months of potential content to film as she prepares. Meanwhile, Andy Cohen spoke out about Jen’s arrest during Radio Andy, saying “I’m waiting to see how it plays out,” and “I have nothing to add to what we already know, other than I certainly hope and pray that none of it is true.”
