BGT viewers blown away by 9-year-old singer with Adele level vocal talent

Britain's Got Talent viewers couldn't believe their ears when they heard young vocalist Immi Davis sing.

The plucky nine-year-old took to the stage to perform her rendition of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' hit I Put A Spell On You and she didn't disappoint as she blew away the audience and judges alike.

Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were all stunned by her talented display as she belted out the vocals.

The judges refused to believe her young age as they admitted to being in awe of her for delivering such an incredible performance.

Viewers at home also couldn't believe the voice they had just heard had come from such a young girl, as they rushed to Twitter to heap praise on her.

Drawing comparisons to Adele and backing Immi as a series winner the compliments poured in for the youngster.

One viewer wrote: "Singing the same style and power as Adele."

Another added: "Wow! If you closed your eyes you'd never guess in million years she was nine years old! Brilliant well done."

A third gushed: "Nine years old and already sounds that amazing! She's going to go far in life! Wow."

A fourth social media user tweeted: "That little girl will win for sure just amazing."

A fifth continued: "I love this kid. Most contestants tell a sob story when asked why they have chosen a particular song. But she just stated pure facts and made Simon look so stupid."

Another stunned fan posted: "Wow! What on earth? She's a nine-year-old powerhouse! Immi Davies, Absolutely the best act of 2022. Blew me away."

One more Twitter user agreed: "Whole household of goosebumps after that beautiful performance, she deserves a golden buzzer more than the others that have had them."

Needless to say, Immi sailed through to the next round with all four judges saying yes to her.

Britain's Got Talent continues Saturday at 8pm.
