Who is singing the national anthem at Super Bowl 2023? | The Sun

THE Super Bowl is as much a concert performance as it is a football game.

Between Rihanna's return to the stage for the halftime show and an eight-time Grammy-winning artist kicking off the broadcast with The Star-Spangled Banner, the Super Bowl is putting on quite the show.

Super Bowl 2023: Who is singing the National Anthem?

The National Anthem has been performed, vocals and/or instrumentals, at every Super Bowl to date with the exception of Super Bowl XI.

Whitney Houston’s rendition at Super Bowl XXV is widely accepted as one of the greatest vocal performances of all time.

The biggest night on the NFL sporting calendar will this year be hosted at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

But before the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs fill the pitch on February 12, 2023, one singer will belt out the national anthem.

The honor has this year been awarded to country music star Chris Stapleton.

He will perform The Star-Spangled Banner alongside actor Troy Kotsur, who starred in the Oscar-winning film CODA.

The deaf star will present the national anthem in American Sign Language.
