ATASER is improving with every run and got the job done well when scoring at York last month.

He relished stepping up to this trip on the Knavesmire and has a lot more to come.

Gumdrop is up a slightly harsh 9lb for winning nicely at Chester but should have no problem staying this extra furlong.

He’s a threat, while Mayaas chased home the tip last time and could improve for the fitting of cheekpieces. A Boy Named Ivy was chinned on the line at Haydock and is another to note.

2.10

DAKOTA GOLD (NAP) is in cracking form and went close in good company at York last time after winning the Beverley Bullet. This trip is fine and a bit of cut in the ground is ideal.

Johnny Murtagh teams up with Frankie Dettori on Urban Beat and he ran a cracker in this grade at Navan last week. He was a bit unlucky there and is a danger.

Moss Gill was third behind Battaash in the Nunthorpe here last time so has obvious claims dropping in class. He’s proven at this level and likes the track.

Acklam Express is a last-time York winner with more to offer getting the two-year-old’s allowance.

2.40

FLYING DRAGON went down in a head-bobber at Salisbury six days ago and a repeat would put him right in the picture. He likes this mile and some cut in the ground brings out the best in Richard Hannon’s hope.

Late Arrival has been knocking on the door and was caught in the dying strides at Yarmouth latest. The Crisford training team continue in top form.

Lexington Warfare is in good nick, while Mykonos St John won nicely at Windsor on his last turf run and Jim Crowley takes over in the saddle.

3.15

MUBTASIMAH didn’t enjoy herself on the all-weather last time after a blistering Listed win at Newbury. This specialist trip is ideal and she has a lot more to come after just two starts this season.

Althiqa hasn’t done a lot wrong and went close over a mile in the mud at Deauville last month. That was on the back of a close-up third at Glorious Goodwood and trainer Charlie Appleby continues to go well.

Jubiloso was third in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot last season but hasn’t raced much since and looked very rusty on comeback in June. She’s had a break since then which may have helped as her best form would make her a threat.

3.45

DEREVO has run three solid races this season and this looks a chance for an overdue win.

He didn’t get the breaks when fancied for a hot York handicap last time on the back of a close fourth at Goodwood. The handicapper has dropped him 1lb which could do the trick.

Strait Of Hormuz went close at Chester last time when upped to this distance, which suited really well. Starcat and Data Protection are others on the shortlist.

KEMPTON

1.55

SUMMERONSEVENHILLS has good 5lb claimer George Rooke in the saddle and that could make the difference as he went close at Chelmsford last time despite traffic problems. This extra furlong should help on that score.

Win O’Clock won by nine lengths at Sandown and is an obvious threat if translating that form to the all-weather.

2.25

PINNATA won on his last trip to Kempton and ran his best race since when a close second at Sandown latest. His liking for the track gives him solid claims at a big price.

Itkaann likes it here and won well at Salisbury on comeback making him the obvious threat.

Raaed won his maiden well at Lingfield and hasn’t been hammered by the assessor for this handicap debut.
