ARSENAL starlet Gabriel Martinelli has committed his future by signing a new long-term contract.
The Brazilian ace, 19, joined Arsenal one year ago today from Ituano.
And he will be staying put for some time after penning fresh terms with Mikel Arteta's side.
The Gunners boss beamed: “I am very happy that Gabi has signed a new contract with us.
“He is a very talented young player and he has impressed us with his performances, attitude and work-rate.
“We are looking forward to getting him back to full fitness and to watching his development at our club.”
Martinelli scored ten goals in 26 games this term before a knee injury sustained last month ruled him out for the remainder of the campaign.
He becomes the latest player to sign under Arteta following Bukayo Saka's new contract just 48 hours ago.
The versatile left-sider's future was up in the air as his old contract was due to expire in 2021.
But Saka, 18, is another highly-rated talent now ready to continue his development in North London.
