David Roddy scores 22 as Colorado State blows out Air Force for second time in three days – The Denver Post

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — David Roddy had 22 points and 12 rebounds as Colorado State easily beat Air Force 74-44 on Monday night to maintain its status on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Isaiah Stevens had 15 points for Colorado State (16-4, 13-3 Mountain West Conference), which won its fourth straight game and second in a row since returning from an extended break due to COVID-19. Kendle Moore added 10 points. Adam Thistlewood had nine rebounds.

Chris Joyce had 10 points for the Falcons (5-19, 3-17). Joseph Octave added six rebounds.

The Rams improved to 2-0 against the Falcons this season, including a 72-49 win on Saturday that followed a similar script to Monday night’s win. Just like on Saturday, CSU pulled away with a dominant second half (48-21).

Now the Rams get New Mexico at Moby Arena on Wednesday with a Mountain West regular-season title still a possibility.
