MANCHESTER UNITED are preparing for a tough trip to Chelsea.

  • NOT ZI ONE

Man Utd opted against rivalling Chelsea for Hakim Ziyech… because they reportedly have their sights firmly set on Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish.

The Red Devils had considered a move for the 26-year-old Ajax schemer ahead of his £36.7million move to Stamford Bridge.

But after being informed that Sancho will be leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side decided not to rival Chelsea for the Moroccan.

According to the Standard, Sancho has been a key target for United for over 12 months now, but his club had made it very clear that they wouldn't be entertaining bids.

With that position having now changed, United will go all out to secure the 19-year-old's signature in the summer.

Chelsea themselves have also been strongly linked with the 11 cap England international.

  • WE DEM BOYZ

Man Utd have reportedly moved to a step closer to signing Moussa Dembele in the summer.

The Lyon striker is also wanted by Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer market opening and the French club are somewhat pessimistic of keeping their star players.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas has stated that bids have already landed for some of his big names.

He is quoted as saying: “We already have a certain number of offers for our players for summer. We sell the players who want to leave to where they want to go.”

Daily Star claim that United have thus been given the green light to sign Dembele for £60million.

And the Red Devils reportedly want to blow their rivals out of the water with a £150,000-a-week contract offer to the Frenchman, 23.

  • SON OF A GUN

Tottenham, Chelsea and PSG are reportedly keen on signing Man Utd goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils still view the 22-year-old – currently on loan at Sheffield United – as a future No1.

They state that Spurs and the Blues are keeping a close eye on the player, with PSG planning a summer approach.

Henderson has kept nine clean sheets in the Premier League this season – a joint high along with Liverpool's Alisson Becker.

  • IGHALO-K

Odion Ighalo was spotted leaving the Lowry Hotel on Thursday as staff were told not to worry despite the striker being “quarantined” amidst coronavirus fears.

The former Watford star, 30, has been kept separate from his new Manchester United team-mates after arriving from China in January.

Ighalo signed on loan from Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season in a bid to solve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's injury crisis up front.

Since joining United, though, fears over coronavirus have grown, with “super-spreaders” popping up all over the world, including in the UK.

But now, sources at the Lowry Hotel have revealed Ighalo's exclusion from the winter break training camp in Spain was merely a precaution and there is nothing to worry about.

On Thursday evening, Ighalo was spotted leaving the hotel and heading to training in a bid to stay match-fit.

  • MADD NOT TO

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to have £274million to spend in the summer transfer window to rejuvenate his struggling side.

The Manchester United boss has already set his sights on Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish.

Solskjaer has spent a whopping £220million since he took charge at Old Trafford, but his team are still struggling in eighth place.

The Red Devils chief needs to bolster his attacking options and Borussia Dortmund star Sancho is at the top of his wishlist.

Here's how the Red Devils could line-up next season.
