Zara McDermott is the reality star on the rise. She began her career in the limelight starring in Love Island 2018. Before that she was a government advisor working in the Department of Education under Damian Hinds, advising on policy.
Clearly Zara is smart and very educated, but she left her role for one in the entertainment industry, which is so far turning out to be an even smarter move.
Before quitting her job she said on Loose Women: "I think my job is quite different. A lot of people are interested in what I do on a day-to-day basis.

"There are two sides to me – I can be quite serious but I’m also spontaneous, fun and energetic."
She didn’t even tell her government bosses that she was going on Love Island, instead saying that she was “taking a career break”.
But since Love Island Zara has made a lot of money. When she went on the show she only has 9,000 followers and she came out with more than one million. The stunning star now has 1.4 million.

The bombshell, who coupled up with Adam Collard and split six months after the ITV show, said that she was "hot property for advertisers" telling Grazia: "Almost instantly, I was inundated with brand deals and so, like everyone does, I tried to make the most of it."
Zara told how she was once offered £3,000 for a single Instagram story from a makeup brand.
She said: "On average Love Island stars will charge between £400 and £1,200 for a feed post, depending on their follower count. For a story post, I’d typically charge £100 per individual story.”
But since raking in cash from influencing the star has been moving up in the world. She is now on Made In Chelsea, after getting in a relationship with multi-reality show star Sam Thompson.
This season fans are following her story line with baited breath after it has been revealed she cheated on Sam and so the two have split.

She also appeared on X Factor: Celebrity where she is competed alongside fellow Love Island alumni Eyal Brooker, Wes Nelson and Samira Mighty.
The 23 year old has recently signed to top modelling agency Storm Models so will no doubt secure some lucrative fashion campaigns
In terms of net worth, Zara is clearly on the way to mass financial success her net worth currently is estimated to be over £100,000.
