The fun bus is leaving and this time she’s not in the driver’s seat.
“Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Vicki Gunvalson claims she signed a contract to appear on the upcoming all-star “Housewives” series, but says she hasn’t heard a peep from the network as production ramps up.
Now, a source tells Page Six that while Gunvalson was originally slated to be in the upcoming Peacock show, the network notified her when the direction of the series changed, canceling her contract.
“She should be very grateful that her contract is null and void because now she’d be in breach of her contract,” our source sniffed.
The highly anticipated series, which has been described as “Real Housewives” meets “Real World,” will bring together franchise favorites, including Luann de Lesseps, in a tropical locale.
“Repost this if you think it’s bulls–t Vicki isn’t on HW spin-off,” a fan wrote on social media recently, prompting Gunvalson to reply, “It’s bulls–t!!”
“I had the contact signed by both parties in FEB then Covid hit… then crickets [sic],” she wrote on Instagram.
Gunvalson was an original cast member when “RHOC” premiered in 2006 and left the show ahead of Season 15 (2020). She spent Season 14 (2019) in a “friend” role instead of as a main cast member.
Page Six exclusively confirmed earlier this week that “RHONY” favorite Luann de Lesseps was cast in the show, which is set to begin shooting in Turks and Caicos in April.
The Blast reported that the series will feature between eight to 10 women from the Bravo franchise and names including Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna were being considered.
“RHONY” star Sonja Morgan may also be appearing on the show, as she has been posting on Instagram from Turks and Caicos.
