Two weeks after welcoming son Tristan, Tarek El Moussa shared ex-wife Christina Haack’s reaction to his expanding family.
Haack wished her former “Flip or Flop” co-star well after the little one’s arrival, he told Us Weekly in an interview published Wednesday.
“She’s very happy for us,” El Moussa, 41, said.
He and Haack, 39, were married from 2009 to 2018 and co-parent daughter Taylor, 12, and son Brayden, 7.
El Moussa moved on with Young, 35, and they tied the knot in October 2021.
The reality stars’ infant arrived on Jan. 31, showing the outlet his face for the first time.
Young also revealed her newborn’s name, explaining the family ties behind the moniker.
“Tarek was supposed to be named Tristan, and his parents ended up naming him Tarek,” the “Selling Sunset” star said.
When Tristan was born, the real estate agent kept that information to herself, remaining in a “happy, private little bubble.”
While Haack did not comment on the little one’s Instagram debut earlier this month, her ex-husband Ant Anstead did show his support at the time.
“HUGE congratulations you guys!” the “Wheeler Dealers” host commented on the upload.
Anstead, 43, wed Haack in December 2018. Before the former couple called it quits in 2020, they welcomed a now-3-year-old son named Hudson.
Although the exes have publicly battled over custody of their toddler, Haack has maintained a cordial dynamic raising Taylor and Brayden with El Moussa and Young.
“We work really hard all of us and we try to make decisions for what’s in the best interest of the kids,” the “Flipping 101 With Tarek El Moussa” star told Entertainment Tonight in June 2022.
His wife chimed in, “The kids are always No. 1 regardless of any other thing going on in your life.”
