A mum has shared a video of her breastfeeding her two-and-a-half-year-old boy to TikTok to hit out at cruel trolls.
Rachel Jones says she is often told that her toddler is “too old to breastfeed”.
But she has refused to pay notice to the comments and instead posted a video in defiance.
The clip, which has been seen nearly 4 million times, shows Rachel sitting on a sofa as her youngster breastfeeds.
With a smile on her face, she exclaims “we do not care” about the trolls.
The clip has attracted thousands of comments, with many praising Rachel’s actions.
“I see zero issues here,” one said. It’s so healthy for them, I don’t know why people would want you to stop at only 2.5.”
Another defended Rachel, saying: “Until you’ve done it you won’t understand. My youngest was over three before we stopped.”
There were still some negative comments, however, with one writing: “Toddler? That unit is nearly a teen.”
And someone else said: “That’s fine but that kid is like 15.”
While some commenters mocked Rachel, there is in fact nothing wrong with breastfeeding a child of her son’s age.
The World Health Organization recommends that all babies be exclusively breastfed for six months.
After this period, they suggest mums gradually introduce family foods but continuing to breastfeed for two years or beyond.
Ultimately, it is the parent’s choice for how long they breastfeed their child.
It comes after a mum was left horrified to discover her next door neighbour secretly breastfeeding her baby.

The woman had been tricked into breastfeeding the youngster by his dad – who had lied that his real mum was not in the picture.
But the facade came tumbling down one day when she showed up and erupted in anger.
“She said that I was a sick person to ‘let some random baby suck up my bodily fluids’ and I wanted to destroy her bonding with the baby and alienate her from her baby,” the mum recalled.
