The last episode of When Calls the Heart Season 6 aired on June 2, which means Hearties will have to wait months until they can return to Hope Valley. New seasons typically premiere in February, so it will be quite a while before the beloved Hallmark Channel drama returns to TV. (Chances are good that the network will make the wait easier by airing a Christmas special, but there’s been no official word yet on whether fans can expect one this year.)
In the meantime, you can always revisit the show’s old episodes. Here’s how to watch Seasons 1 through 6 of When Calls the Heart again (or for the first time if you’re new to the show!)
When Calls the Heart is streaming on Netflix
Hearties take heart. Netflix has almost every episode of When Calls the Heart available for streaming in the U.S. (availability varies by country). Seasons 1 through 5 are available on the service. That’s more than 50 episodes, including three 1½-hour Christmas specials: New Year’s Wish, When Calls the Heart Christmas, and The Christmas Wishing Tree.
Unfortunately, Season 6 of the show hasn’t yet made it to Netflix — not a surprise since it just wrapped up a little over a week ago. Season 5 hit the streaming service in late December 2018. The long delay between the end of the season and when it appeared on Netflix frustrated some Hearties, Soap Dirt reported. While it’s possible Hallmark and Netflix will hear fans’ cries and make Season 6 available for streaming promptly, there are no guarantees that will happen.
What if you don’t have Netflix?
If you don’t have a Netflix subscription, don’t despair. You can still catch up on everything Hope Valley on Amazon Prime. Most episodes cost $2.99 to stream, or you can buy the entirety of Seasons 1-4 for $19.99 each. Season 5 costs $26.99.
Amazon Prime is also the place to go if you want to catch up on Season 6 before it (hopefully) shows up on Netflix. Each of the nine regular season episodes is $2.99, and the Christmas special, The Greatest Christmas Blessing, is $4.99. The entire season costs $24.99.
If the Hallmark Channel is part of your cable package, you can catch up on the most recent episodes of When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel Everywhere app. The last six episodes of Season 6 are available on the app through July 31, 2019.
When Calls the Heart is one of the highest-rated shows on cable
Despite some bumps this season, When Calls the Heart closed out its 2019 run as the No. 2-rated scripted cable series of the year so far, after AMC’s The Walking Dead. This season was also the highest-rated in the show’s history, with an average of 2.9 million viewers per episode, according to Crown Media Networks. The finale was the highest-rated episode since the series debuted in 2013. The network has already renewed the show for Season 7, and if viewership stays high, fans will likely get many more seasons to enjoy.
