You’ve been shaving your legs all wrong for years – my way is so much faster and gets them smoother too | The Sun

MOST of us probably assume that we’re shaving our legs the correct way, right?

But now one beauty pro has taken to TikTok to share an even easier way to do it – and people can’t believe they didn’t think of it.

Charlotte, known online as @charmakeupnz, regularly shares beauty tips with her 3,300 followers.

In a new video, she shows how rather than shaving up one row at a time, her followers should try gliding the razor back down their leg to help push out the hairs.

This makes it even easier to grab every hair – even the baby ones.

“I’ve just discovered the best leg-shaving hack.

“So basically I just realised I’ve been shaving my legs wrong for the last 20 years.

“Let’s go to the bathroom.

“So I was today years old when I learn that instead of running the water the whole time and shaving a row and then rinsing it under the water, shaving another row, rinse it under the water.

“We don’t have all day to do that.

“Instead, you shave a row, glide the razor down, shave a row, glide the razor down and the hairs get pushed out as you glide up and down your legs.

“It’s so much quicker and so much easier.

“See? They’re getting pushed out as I glide down. So good.

“And before you ask, I promise I’ve never cut my leg doing this.”

Fans loved the quick and easy hack, with the video gaining more than 2,000 likes and 132,000 views.

In the comments, Charlotte’s followers raved about her discovery, with one writing: “WHAT?! I am 33 and how did I not know this.”

Another said: “That’s so genius.”

A third added: “Oh my goodness I also have been doing it wrong. Hahah thanks for sharing lifesaver.”

Charlotte joked: “This is the stuff we should be being taught in school.”
