Woman reveals 5st weight loss success story secret was swapping pizza for 15 peppers a day

A PIZZA junkie lost 5st after ditching them and eating up to 15 peppers a day.

Tina Leonard, 44, had reached 14st 13lb before her diet switch.

She said: “I’m obsessed with red peppers and bulk buy them.

"I eat them with pretty much every meal.”

Tina revealed a marriage breakdown and change of career caused her weight to rocket with emotional overeating, including her favourite pepperoni pizzas.

The charity worker, who also used a Lighter Life diet plan, said: “I found comfort in food — fry-ups, chocolate and takeaways."

“I was taking in around 3,000 calories a day, and making a point of avoiding mirrors or any weighing scales.”

"With my dress size going up from ten to 20, I had my head in the sand about how I was killing myself."

"I’d hit rock bottom and was not me, more like a woman closing in on retirement.”

“Of course I still have bad days, but now I don’t speed-dial for a massive meat feast pizza, I whip-up a stir fry."

Tina, from Birmingham, now weighs a healthy 9st 13lb, and is down to a size eight.
