I’m a Panera super fan – you need to watch for 'dangerous' ingredients in popular drink and it’s not about sugar levels

A TIKTOKER shared a “warning” to Panera Bread lovers everywhere about the restaurant’s new Lemonade Chargers.

User @rosetintedgirl posted a video on her account which gained over 1million views, holding what appeared to be a large Lemonade Charger in her hands.

“This is not an ad, this is a warning,” she said in the clip. “This lemonade has 400 milligrams of caffeine…are you kidding me?”

The user also claimed that Panera currently has a promotion where “you can just go and get it for free. As much as you want.”

Panera Bread advertises the lemonade on their website as an “instant energy boost” and it comes in three flavors: Strawberry Lemon Mint, Mango Yuzu Citrus and Fuji Apple Cranberry.

The drink is described as “the ultimate energy drink guaranteed to charge up your day.

"Powered by Clean caffeine from guarana and green coffee extract, these caffeinated lemonades feature refreshing mango, cranberry or strawberry mint flavors. These drinks are cold, caffeinated and ready for summer.”

According to the website, the drinks each have roughly 260 milligrams of caffeine.

The user’s video features thousands of comments, some of them from workers at Panera Bread.

“I work at panera and we all take shots of it to stay awake during our shifts. I warn as many customers as possible,” wrote one person.
