I went out on a Hinge date – I got Covid after and he sent me a full care package and cooked me food, he’s a keeper

ONLINE dating has certainly been a popular way for singles to meet one another amid the ongoing pandemic.

One woman revealed just how well her online dating experience is going when she shared she got a full care package sent to her after she tested positive for Covid-19 from a guy she only met once.

“So I tested positive for Covid yesterday,” the woman, who goes by @britthappi100 on TikTok, said at the beginning of her video.

“Also I’m recently single and I’ve really been casting a wide net lately in the dating scene, if you know what I mean.

“But I was just delivered a care package from a man I’ve been on one date with.

“So we’re going to unpack it, see what’s in here and I’m gonna show you why you need to never settle,” she continued.

She added: “Mind you I also had a different guy that I’ve only been on one date with drop me off a care package yesterday, too.”

Upon opening the hefty-looking care package, she found a hand-written card, several containers of fruit, her “favorite” pink grapefruit-flavored Perrier carbonated water, bread, Ghirardelli chocolates, vitamin C supplements, and two “ginormous” containers of soup.

“Don’t settle. That’s all folks,” she concluded in her video as she posed with all her gifts.

Naturally, people were blown away by the woman’s story and wondered how she was able to impress two guys so much that they sent her care packages when she got sick.

“Girl what are you doing on these first dates where men want to send you care packages after?” one viewer questioned.

“No man has ever done anything like that for me.”

“Girly show us ur app profile,” another begged.

Yet a third impressed TikToker wrote: “Homeboy is also playing the long game because he put it all in Tupperware and you’re going to have to give that back at some point.”

The poster heard the comments loud and clear, and in a follow-up video, she admitted that she doesn’t really have much advice for anyone hoping for similar treatment.

“If I were to give advice,” she noted, “cast a wide net and have high standards and just be transparent.”

While the TikToker is no professional relationship expert – although her followers may think differently – her message does echo the sentiment of a professional.

A dating coach who goes by Dating with Aly on the platform noted that people should definitely be dating more than one person at once, as the TikToker explained she is doing.

Aly said: “If you’re not in a committed relationship, why are you committing to someone who hasn’t committed to you?”

“Keep [seeing others] until somebody earns their sole spot in your life, in your romantic life,” she added.
