Tiger King star Carole Baskin has revealed that she is bisexual.
The 59-year-old, who recently won control over rival Joe Exotic's former zoo, made the revelation two weeks after being eliminated from Dancing With The Stars.
Carole first discovered her sexuality when she interacted with the LGBT+ community in the 1980s.
Speaking to PinkNews, the Big Cat Rescue owner explained: "I was engaged to a psychologist who worked with LGBT+ community.
"It was during the period when AIDS was just wreaking havoc around the world, and people were losing their loved ones, and so I became very close to people in that community then," she revealed.
As she was growing up, the Netflix star felt 'something was off' because she was such a tomboy but didn't know what it was.
"I was always very male-oriented in the things I did… I never had any mothering instincts or anything, you know, I never played with dolls.
"And so I always thought there was something off there, that I couldn't quite put my finger on.
"But it was during the 80s that I discovered that through dealing with the LGBT+ community that I [realised] I had just as equal feelings for women as I did for men," Carole said.

The Dancing With The Stars 2020 contestant went on to explain that she could see herself having a wife just as much as she can see herself having a husband.
"I have always considered myself to be bisexual. Even though I've never had a wife, I could just as easily have a wife as a husband.
"As far as the way I feel about us, I think we are all one and I just don't see us as being different genders or different colours or anything."
The big-cat rights activist was asked if she thought fellow Tiger King co-star Joe Exotic, who was sent to jail for plotting to kill her, is a good representation of the queer community.

She said: "It's not a matter of what your sexuality is, this man is just a deviant in the way he treats human life and animal life," Carole exclaimed.
"I think he's a malign narcissist, and that it's all about him. It doesn't have anything to do with any of the communities that he may associate himself with."
