Roger Waters, the songwriter, musician, and founding member of Pink Floyd, has been added as one of the keynote speakers for the 34th edition of the SXSW Conference.
“Roger Waters is a true creative visionary, and we’re pleased to have him participate for 2020,” said Hugh Forrest, Chief Programming Officer.
Waters, who composed Pink Floyd’s multi-platinum albums, including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall, will deliver a keynote speech about music
Featured speakers for the SXSW Conference represent industry trailblazers and creative visionaries from the worlds of technology, film, and music.
The 2020 SXSW Conference & Festivals will be held in Austin, Texas, from March 13 to 22. Those who register through November 22 can save $375, SXSW said.
