Robin Thicke has announced that On Earth, and in Heaven, his first full-length album in six years, will be released on February 12.
Thicke said in a statement that the title of the album denotes what he is singing about: “The people who aren’t here and the people who are here that made me who I am. This music is the sunshine coming out after the rain.”
“I feel like I’m finally the person I set out to be. I’m able to laugh at anything, which I’ve realized is the greatest superpower. I’ve fully embraced it, and nothing has been better for my soul,” Thicke added.
On Earth, and in Heaven comes as a follow-up to his 2014 album Paula, which was named after his now ex-wife.
A third child in Robin’s relationship with his partner April Love Geary was born in December.
