TV presenter Rachel Riley, 34, who is best known for presenting daytime game show Countdown has admitted it is now “completely different” after returning to on the Channel 4 show with her crew again. The maths whizz said everyone feels “glad to be back at work” after months away from the studio due to the coronavirus outbreak.
After returning to the studio to continue filming the maths game show in July, Rachel has opened up about how it has been to be back with her colleagues.
She divulged: “It’s completely different now we’ve got the baby, but in terms of social distancing, we didn’t have to make too many changes because we’re all quite spaced out anyway!
“I think everyone is just glad to be back at work.”
Although Rachel decided to return to work just two months after her nine-month-old daughter Maven Aria was born, she was forced to have more time away from work due to the coronavirus outbreak halting productions.
“I went back two months after Maven was born and then lockdown gave me a forced maternity leave, which has been good for her,” she said.
Rachel welcomed her first child with her husband, and, ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Pasha Kovalev, 40, last December.
“Pasha comes up and looks after Maven and he brings her in during the breaks so I can feed her,” she added.
Rachel went on to reveal to OK! Magazine: “Maven loves coming to work and crawling around.
“She’s already pulling all the dresses off the rail in my dressing room and testing my heels!”
It comes after Rachel discussed whether she and Pasha have their eyes on welcoming another child into their family in the future.
While the star said they would like more kids at “some stage” she confessed she and her partner were “late” starting a family, as she added a lot of their friends have more kids than them.
Rachel then said she wants to wait until Maven is a bit older until they plan for another.

The TV host also mentioned how becoming a mother for the first time has encouraged her to “live in the moment” a lot more.
She added: “You’re a lot more present. You’re not thinking, ‘What projects do I have to get involved with or what am I doing then?’ Now, it’s just, ‘What am I doing today?'”
Rachel concluded by saying the past nine months of being a mother has been “wonderful” with Pasha.
The presenter, who is from Essex, and her Russian-born spouse have been talking to Maven in their respective languages, as they hope she will be fluent in both.
Rachel opened up about their decision when she joined Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain for an interview.
Susanna began: “Apparently you are teaching her Russian already! At nine months old.”
The mother-of-one remarked: “Not necessarily me, but obviously Pasha, so he is speaking to her solely in Russian and I am speaking to her in English.
“I have to stop myself from speaking to her in bad Russian.”
