A new vegetarian cookbook by Paul McCartney and his daughters Mary and Stella will be published in June.
“Linda McCartney’s Family Kitchen” will be published by the Orion Publishing Group in the U.K. on June 24 and in the U.S. on June 29.
The book is a collection of 100 simple, fresh and inventive plant-based recipes, including McCartney’s late wife Linda’s classic meat-free recipes.
“Because how we eat is changing, with more and more people choosing a meat- and dairy-free diet, even if only for one or two days a week,” McCartney said.
“At home, Linda would cook for the family and these recipes have been now brought up to date for a modern audience, so they’re all now plant-based and fabulous,” the Beatles legend added.
Alongside family favorites such as American-Style Pancakes, Chili Non Carne, Sausage Rolls and Shepherd’s Pie, Paul, Mary and Stella share the dishes they cook most at home: Pad Thai, Pulled Jackfruit Burgers, Panzanella Salad and Crunchy Pecan Cookies.
The book also contains personal stories and intimate family photos spanning three decades.
