Molly-Mae Hague shows off her stomach scars for first time after endometriosis surgery

Molly-Mae Hague has shown off her stomach scars after undergoing endometriosis surgery a few weeks ago.

Molly, 22, has been extremely candid about her endometriosis battle, and showed off her scars during a clothing haul video.

In the clip, Molly is showing off some of her new Gymshark clothing sets, when she says that her stomach “isn’t fully back to normal” after her surgery.

Molly explained: “My stomach still isn’t fully back to normal after my endometriosis operation. I don’t know if you can see but that’s one of my little scars from where they went into my stomach."

“They went under my belly button as well, and lower down,” Molly continued.

While Molly currently appears healthy and happy, the 22 year old said she was a “mess” after having her surgery.

She told her 1.62 million YouTube subscribers at the time: "I've definitely been all over the place these last couple of weeks. I didn't tell anybody, but I had my endometriosis surgery.

"This is just a lot because last video I started saying I had this surgery and now I'm saying I've had a different surgery.

"But the operation was way way harder to go through than I thought and my recovery time was quite a bit longer than I had planned and I was just a bit of a mess after that surgery.

"A lot of the things I've been talking about recently is like my health is not great – but my endometriosis video is the last now,” Molly continued.

Prior to her surgery, Molly said she’d been in “excruciating pain” with her endometriosis, but doctors continuously told her she didn’t have the condition.

It wasn’t until Molly went to see a private doctor thatthey confirmed that it was endometriosis.

She explained: “I went to the doctors a couple of times about endometriosis, I was like, 'I really do think I’ve got endometriosis, I have every sign and symptom of it. My period pains are to the point where I literally can’t stand up.'

“'I’m in unbearable pain, I have to take time off work. It’s just ridiculous, and I have lots of other symptoms as well. I just feel like this is it’ and every single doctor said to me ‘no, no, no. You definitely don’t have endometriosis.’"

Upon visiting a private doctor, Molly got the diagnosis she wanted.

She said: "Straight away they said 'You absolutely do have endometriosis, it's clear as day'. So I guess that's kind of a good thing because at least I know now what it is.”
