Miley Cyrus has hit back at rumours she is breaking up with husband Liam Hemsworth in a series of Instagram stories celebrating their 10 year anniversary.
Posting a headline speculating over the couple’s future, Miley wrote: ‘Happy 10 year anniversary my love.
‘It’s good to everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009! Some things never change … & I hope the way you feel about me is one of them. Yours truly.’
She followed up the sentiment with a throwback picture of their very first kiss, which just happened to be caught on camera while they were filming 2009 movie The Last Song.
Another photo followed of the couple sat on the beach during the filming of the movie and even though Miley was 17 and Liam was 20, they look like babies.
‘Started digging you in 2009,’ wrote the Wrecking Ball singer. ‘S**t got deep,’ she added before an engagement ring emoji. Liam proposed to Miley way back in 2012.
While Miley is happy celebrating her ten year anniversary with Liam, it’s not entirely true as the couple did take a three year break in 2013.
It’s also unclear whether the anniversary is of the day they met, their first kiss or when they officially started dating.
During that time the star was rumoured to have dated Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell and had a brief relationship with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Patrick.
Liam came back into Miley’s life in 2016 and the pair quickly picked up where they left off.
They were married late last year in a simple, private ceremony at their home.
The Hunger Games actor recently told GQ their marriage was a way to restart after their house tragically burned down in last year’s California wildfires.
‘We wanted to make a new part of our lives – going through something this emotional with someone brings you closer,’ said the Australian.
‘At about three or four AM, I got a call from Miley. She’d found out from a friend, and that was when she told me [the house] was gone.’
The 29-year-old also revealed he and Miley want to have kids one day… a lot of them: ‘You couldn’t bring a baby into our house right now. But one day, we’ll know when it’s right… 10, 15, maybe 20 [kids].’
