Lauren Goodger welcomes baby girl with boyfriend Charles Drury

Lauren Goodger is a mum for the first time after welcoming her baby daughter.

The former Towie star, who had planned a spray tan before the birth so she could look flawless in labour, announced the happy news via her rep.

Her spokeswoman told OK! Magazine: ‘Mother and baby are doing really well. Lauren and her partner Charlie are really looking forward to spending some quality time with their new arrival.’

Lauren had previously been open about wanting to have a home birth as she was considered low-risk and would find it more comfortable being in her own surroundings.

Lauren, 34, and Charles, 24, have been dating since October 2020 and announced they were expecting their first child in January.

At the start of the month, Lauren had addressed messages from fans about her pregnancy, writing alongside a photo of her in bed: ‘Me and bump just had a nap, I sleep so much better in the morning/day than nighttime! Baby girl doesn’t move as much either we sleep.’

Addressing claims from fans that she had been pregnant ‘forever’, Lauren added: ‘I am not due yet but few weeks and she [will] be here – July baby.

‘Everyone keeps saying on here [that it] seems like I’ve been pregnant forever. I am only pregnant same time as everyone else haha.

‘I’m growing a baby and she will come when she’s ready at the end of the third trimester.’

Lauren had also discussed her birth plans with OK! magazine, revealing: ‘I’m going to be here with relaxing music on, the lights down and just fairy lights and candles around me.

‘It’s going to be very much a spiritual birth. And I’m planning to get some selfies during labour, so of course I’m getting a spray tan and my hair done ready for it.

‘I also want a masseuse there if I can! It sounds crazy, but it’s going to be amazing.’
