Kyle Martino has shared a sweet Valentine’s Day message for his ex Eva Amurri, who is pregnant with their third child, just months after their breakup.
“Happy Valentines Day Mama!! 💗 I thought today was gonna be really hard, and in some ways it is. But today I feel our unbreakable love for one another,” he wrote on Instagram Friday. “I’m proud of us for protecting that and modeling what love is for our children.”
He added, “Today helps remind us that there is a place in our heart meant for another, and it’s the place in our heart still meant for each other that makes that feel right. I will always carry your heart, carry it in my heart. Love you Mama.”
Her response was just as touching.
“So much love for you baby daddy!!!💕💕💕💕,” she commented on the post. “Can’t wait to have another little one to both love on!”
In her Instagram Story, she added, “I feel so lucky that we get to continue to grow together for many years to come. Even if it’s in a different way.”
Martino, 38, and Amurri, 34, announced their breakup after 8 years of marriage in November 2019. They are parents to 3-year-old son Major James and 5-year-old daughter Marlowe Mae.
Despite their split, the pair have remained friendly and were even seen spending family time together just hours after announcing they were parting ways.
Amurri has also opened up about how much her life has changed in recent months.
“Now four years in to founding my company, two kids deep, expecting my third child, coparenting with my ex-hubby of 8 years, a couple product launches, and a move and home renovation under my belt– and I’m keeping it really REAL about what my life is like as a Single Mom, Woman, and Entrepreneur,” she wrote on her blog in December 2019.
While she is on good terms with her ex, she has shared with fans she feels “overwhelmed” dealing with the stress of divorce and pregnancy simultaneously.
In 2016, the daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri made headlines when she fired her nanny for wanting to “f–k [her husband’s] brains out.”
