Many people know Bridget Moynahan’s famous former boyfriend and the father of her son, John Edward Thomas — he goes by Jack — is Tom Brady, the NFL star, and current husband of supermodel Gisele Bündchen. But the Blue Bloods actress has so moved on from her scandalous (at least at the time) relationship with the former Patriots and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. She is happily married to Andrew Frankel, an investment banker and father of three, since 2015.
The (very tall and good looking) couple met through a mutual friend according to People and would go on to say “I do” in New York at Wolffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack. Believe it or not, according to Country Living, the intimate fall affair was a surprise for guests, who had been told they were being gathered for a harvest moon party. Because, don’t we all celebrate such occasions?
All of Bridget Moynahan's wedding day details
The famous bride’s stunning mermaid silhouette gown was designed by J. Mendel (who did custom fittings for the Sex and the City star) and reminds us of a wintry wonderland with its complementary fur jacket. Moynahan wore custom-made earrings and hair accessories including an ostrich bow. Stylist Basia Zamorska told People about her ear bling, “We surprised Bridget with her favorite H.Stern earrings. There was only one pair in existence!”
The vows were said in an open field on the vineyard. Wedding planners told People, “She loved the understated elegance of the location combined with the festive fall feeling.” The following reception was minimalist in feel, complete with a table adorned with a runner of lemon leaves and eucalyptus. Planners added, “They really wanted the night to feel more like a large family dinner party than a wedding. It was all about simplicity and ease.”
