Alison Hammond has confirmed she is single, just weeks after it was rumoured she had gotten engaged to boyfriend Ben Hawkins.
The TV presenter, 48, announced her relationship status on This Morning on Friday, as she and co-host Dermot O'Leary, 49, discussed ITV's new show The Romance Retreat, which has been dubbed 'middle-aged Love Island'.
Dermot read out the casting call for the upcoming dating show, and said to Alison: "Hang on a second, have a kid over 18… the casting call Alison says ITV are looking for vibrant, single parents from across the UK…"
The mum-of-one, who has been announced as the new host of The Great British Bake Off, then burst into giggles as she admitted: "Well, I am single, I'm single!"
Dermot revealed there's also a cash prize up for grabs on the new ITV show, and jokingly egged Alison on to sign herself up for the show.
"I'd give the money to charity, but I could do that and find a nice man!" Alison said, prompting Dermot to quip: "Love and cash, your two favourite things!"
Alison's relationship status update comes after she was rumoured to be engaged to her boyfriend Ben Hawkins, who she had been dating for around two years.

The couple had kept their romance mainly out of the spotlight, but in February reports began circulating claiming they had gotten engaged after Ben's father, Colin, revealed his son and Alison had "proposed to one another".
Colin told Mail Online: "I do know they have both proposed to one another but there are no rings that I know of."
He went on to brand Alison as "the nicest woman I've ever met" as he gushed over how happy she and Ben are.
However, Alison, who is mum to son Aiden, 18, with ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied, soon set the record straight on This Morning and shut down the reports, announcing she was not set to walk down the aisle anytime soon.
Dermot jokingly congratulated her on her 'engagement' on the daytime TV show, prompting Alison to quickly disregard the reports as "fake news".
"It's fake news babes, I'm so sorry. I'm not engaged. I told you that whenever I'm engaged or getting married, I'll be the first one to tell you", she said, as Dermot feigned shock and disappointment.
This Morning airs on weekdays on ITV1.
